One new feature that chirrps has recently launched is a dynamic profile search for Twitter users. With this addition you can now instantly find a Twitter User’s chirrps profile (including tweets, photos, videos, & more). The profile search is featured on every chirrps page in the main search bar at the top.
We haven’t by any means gotten rid of the Twitter keyword search. That function is still just as powerful as it ever was. In order to search Twitter for a keyword, simply type the word or phrase you want to search for and hit enter. The most popular tweets containing your search terms will show up as they always have.
If, however, you are looking for a user’s profile instead of a keyword or phrase, start typing that user’s name or user ID in the search box. A list of the most popular user’s will dynamically appear as you are typing. Notice that you can type either the user’s name OR the user ID. So now if you want to find the latest photos or most popular tweets from your favorite celebrity, but don’t know their user ID (or screen name) you no longer have to google them to find it. Just start typing their name and let chirrps show you the best matches. If you would prefer to search by user ID, that will work just as well.
This update is one of many that we are rolling out as we continue striving to make chirrps the destination of choice for your Twitter experience.
Thanks,
The chirrps team
